when i feel like walking death, i can hear every single sound.
the honking in the distance combined with the whistling from my nose, and the chickadees in spring set free (the blessed temperature finally rose). the screams of bats sting my ears, and my eyes are pounding out of my skull. the cocktail of this, that and the other thing, has set me in stone and forced me into the drone of twilight (everything between the extremes), so i'm caught awake in the wake of all the noise.
